Going Viral Over The Internet!!

Going Viral Over The Internet!!

We’ve all heard the age old adage, “Treat your business like a business and it will make you money, treat your business like a hobby and it will cost you money. “If there is one key element to running a successful business, it’s advertising”. Without effective advertising, even the best business will have a hard time surviving. Can you imagine IBM or Ford trying to increase market share without a consistent advertising campaign? No CEO would approve a business plan that didn’t include consistent marketing.

Given the age we all live in, there’s nothing more crucial to the success of your business than advertising on the Internet. Let’s face it, the Internet has changed the very face of home-based business.  If you have an online business, website or Blog, you must figure out how to market your business to the billions of Internet users. If not, you might as well be building your business in a vacuum.

The unprecedented success of cyberspace relates to four main characteristics –

 1) Speed.

 2) Reach.

 3) Focus.

 4) Cost.

Where else can you reach billions of consumers so quickly and for such a small investment? Comparing Internet advertising to conventional means of advertising (TV, Radio, Newspaper) is like comparing a horse drawn buggy to a Ferrari. There really is no comparison.

By advertising on the Web, you can instantly reach people who are actively seeking what you have to offer. People who read the newspaper or watch TV are a passive audience and most consider the advertising to be a nuisance. Even if they were interested, they would need to stop what they’re doing to take action (make a phone call or visit a website). On the Internet, all they do is click a link and they’re instantly visiting your site.

The World Wide Web offers so many great opportunities for anyone and everyone, as long as you do your homework and think outside the box. Even if you’re just starting to ponder an online business venture, remember that advertising on the Internet is crucial to your business’s success. Millions of individuals are connected to the Internet at any given time from all around the globe. The web opens up doors and opportunities galore.

Almost every type of business owner advertises on the Internet these days. A perfect example is the amazing success of the low-budget film “The Blair Witch Project.” You probably didn’t really see this “reality” style horror flick advertised on TV. Instead, the student film makers who came up with the idea thought it would be wise to advertise on the Internet.

They did this by building a website that cost them next to nothing. They then started a Viral Marketing campaign to spread the word. Once the word got out, through movie trailers & clips, everyone was jumped on the Blair Witch bandwagon. No matter what you thought of the film, you have to admire the ingenuity behind this low-budget project that made millions and millions of dollars. This is just one example of how advertising on the Internet can be excellent for your business or website’s success. and this all happened before the advent of Blogs and YouTube.

For those who have a website or Blog, one great way to earn serious residual income is by promoting affiliate sites via your websites and Blog. This way, you have a very low overhead (the affiliate company handle everything from website creation to products to shipping to paying commissions), very low risk, and the opportunity to leverage your time and money to generate serious residual income.

Advertising on the Internet can provide quick & massive growth for any legitimate home-based business. Just remember to choose your target audience wisely and focus your advertising on a very specific group. If not, you could waste a huge portion of your marketing budget on the wrong people. Picture someone trying to sell ice cubes to Eskimos.

Take the time to sit down and systematically come up with a game plan (business plan & marketing plan) for your business. Again, it comes down to treating your business like a business. All too often we see people attempting the “Shotgun Approach” of trying everything and focusing on nothing. This is a surefire way to max out your credit card with no guarantee of results.

A word of caution – Any form of advertising you choose should be the direct result of thorough research, careful planning, and due diligence. This time tested method of decision making has led to business success for centuries. Don’t let anyone pressure you into anything that you haven’t carefully and logically thought out.

The Internet and Viral Marketing can provide a great deal of exposure in record time. If you plan to succeed in your home business, be sure to leverage the speed and power of the Internet to your advantage!

What The Heck Is A Blog?

What The Heck Is A Blog?

Now that the holidays are quickly approaching us, we are beginning to “get into gear” to make it great year in 2013, many of us are planning a big marketing push for 2013. As you settle on a marketing plan for the new year, you should be asking yourself this crucial questions … What are the hottest tools being used by the most successful online marketers?

One of the best Internet marketing tools to really come of age in 2012 is The Blog. Thousands of companies and individuals, big and small, are now using blogs to expand their reach and warm up the very cold market known as The Internet. Many home business owners are asking the same question – What the heck is a blog?

A blog is a very clever marketing medium that reads more like a diary than a newsletter. An effective blog gives its readers a peek into the mind (and sometimes the daily life) of the blog’s author. A typical blog includes some combination of text, images, links, videos and advertising. The majority of blogs are mostly text based and are part of a wider phenomenon known as social networking (Facebook, YouTube, etc.)

Most blogs focus on a particular subject or industry … for instance there are popular sports blogs, travel blogs, movie blogs, political blogs, Internet blogs, entertainment blogs, and reality blogs. Many companies include their blog as a section of their main website.

Blogs can be personal or business related. Business or corporate blogs can be used to complement existing advertising, expand low-cost marketing options, and increase business exposure in the marketplace.

The most effective business blogs have regular entries, in most cases ranging from several times a week to several times a month. The entries are typically in reverse chronological order, with the newest entries appearing first. The blogger shares his/her thoughts on topics that are usually of importance to the particular industry he/she does business in.

A blog is a very effective and inexpensive way to reach your target audience. A well designed and well written blog increases your exposure because of 3 primary reasons:

Blogs reach a highly targeted audience of people who you know are interested in your business/industry.

Blogs make your site “sticky” – they are like a reality show that keeps your readers coming back to find out what’s happening next.

Blogs are a very effective place to advertise because you know you are reaching a very targeted audience.

Until now, the majority of the best corporate blogs have been credited to CEO’s of large corporations like Bill Marriott of the hotel chain, Bob Parsons of GoDaddy, Marc Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team, tennis star Anna Kournikova, and William Shatner of television and movie fame.

The challenge for most Internet marketers is they are not always inspired authors. Designing and writing a blog can be a major undertaking, both getting started and keeping it going. The famous bloggers listed above have mega resources available to them, including ghost writers and public relations departments, to assist them in writing and managing their blog.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of the amazing hi-tech blogging phenomenon, without investing 100s of hours and $1,000s of dollars, we invite you to GET ACCESS NOW!!

Understanding the ABC’s of Duplication in YOUR MLM Business

Understanding the ABC’s of Duplication in YOUR MLM Business

Duplication – I bet you weren’t too long in the network marketing industry before you began to hear about duplication. Every MLM training seminar, Super Saturday and ”Boot Camp” address the topic of duplication.
Ask any top earner and they will include duplication as one of the keys to creating residual wealth. It is universally accepted that duplication is one of the major MLM success factors.

Without duplication, you can expect modest results, at best. No matter how many people you sponsor into your business, without duplication none of them will succeed and most will eventually quit the business. Without duplication, you have a self-imposed income ceiling. With duplication, there is virtually no limit to the growth of your residual income. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

The issue for most networkers is putting this fabulous strategy into action. There is no set formula, no “set in stone” blueprint for duplicating results. And contrary to popular opinion, success is not about duplicating your efforts. Exponential growth is a by-product of duplicating your results. Effort is meaningless unless it brings quantifiable results. Unfortunately, you can’t open a catalog and buy a duplication system. And unless your team leaders have a system in place that you believe in 110%, there is no simple answer to the question, “What should I duplicate and how do I go about doing it?”

Before we delve into the process of duplication, I need to give you some very strong advice. Creating a duplication nation is a major project, and it will likely take months, or even years, of trial and error before you get it right. If you can find something that works, or a team with a philosophy and vision you share, I strongly encourage you to join that team and plug into a working model. The only reason to re-invent the wheel is if you can’t find a wheel that works the way you think it should.

Analyze everything. Build a system. Choose simplicity.

Analyze everything. In order to achieve your desired results, you must duplicate your activities. In order to duplicate your results, it is necessary to analyze everything you do on a daily basis. Is your advertising duplicable? Are your presentations, conference calls, and meetings duplicable? Can your members easily replicate your recruiting and sponsoring efforts?

Break down every task and every process, asking yourself if the functions you are performing can be easily duplicated by your team members. If the answer is “no”, rethink and rework that process. No matter how effective you are at sponsoring new members, you will never achieve true residual wealth until you learn to duplicate and multiply; duplicate your results and multiply your leaders.

Build a system. We’ve all heard the saying, “People don’t duplicate, systems do.” Effective systems can be high tech, low tech, or anything in between. According to famous author and consultant W. Edward Deming, “97% of all failure is due to the system and not the person.” Every successful networker utilizes a system and shares that system with their team.

The most frequent question new members ask is, “How do I build this?” or “How do I get started?” With a duplicable system, new members have a blueprint for building their business. With a viable system, their success does not hinge on their sponsor or team leaders. They are secure in the knowledge that as long as they consistently invest the necessary time and effort, they can succeed. Without a duplicable system, each member has to figure everything out themselves, and very few will.

The most effective systems utilize a building blueprint & tools. Provide any builder with plans and the right tools and they can build a house. Just like an engineer or builder uses a blueprint & tools to build quality structures that can withstand the elements, networkers need tools to build a solid business that will stand the test of time.

Tools increase the odds of successful duplication on your team.  By making the right tools available, you are giving your team members the opportunity to succeed. Anyone can use a tool and more important, teach their team how to use the tools.Systems duplicate, tools make it possible.

Choose simplicity. The best system in the world will not work if it requires technical knowledge or specific talents. Complex and complicated systems often look good on paper but rarely work in the real world. To build your business exponentially, your system must be available and accessible to the masses.

The secret is to give everyone the same opportunity and the “right” people will grab it. If it takes an extensive background or skill set to use your system, you will be denying the opportunity to a large segment of the population. If it requires 5 hours of your time to get a new member started, you will end up being the “bottleneck” in your business. If your average team member can’t easily understand and teach your system, you are doomed to linear growth and limited by the number of people you can personally sponsor.

There is one more key factor in the duplication process. No matter how good your system is, you won’t achieve massive results without the right audience. Your success depends on targeting the right people, with the right attitude. Focus your system on locating quality prospects and team members who are teachable and coachable.

Finally, remember that your responsibility is to provide the opportunity. You have no control over who takes the opportunity. Once you have assembled or plugged into a working system, make it available to your team, and work with those who are working. As the old saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.” Many people talk a good game, but when push comes to shove, only a few actually step up to the plate. Teach the system to the workers, and then teach them how to teach their members. Duplication will naturally occur.

Building YOUR Business With Viral Marketing!

There is far too much hype on the Internet today … and especially about viral marketing. Viral marketing has been around since 1996 but has just recently become the ‘sexy’ term of the week – we see so many websites touting their amazing, unparalleled viral marketing technology.

With so much buzz about this marketing method, how do you separate the useful information from the hype? Unfortunately, with so much missed information on the Internet, it is very difficult to know who and what to believe. We’re going to cut through the layers of hype and get to the bottom of viral marketing … and how it can be used to virtually explode your network marketing business.

Viral marketing is used to describe a marketing strategy that encourages individuals to pass on information or a message to others, creating the potential for geometric growth in the message’s exposure and influence. Like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to hundreds, to thousands, and even to millions. Perhaps the biggest benefit of viral marketing is its ability to reach a very large number of interested people at an extremely low cost. And because it is based on word of mouth, viral marketing avoids the common issues associated with email marketing – spam complaints, bulk filtering, and ISP problems.

The definition of viral marketing (or viral promotion) is a method of advertising products or services that causes recipients to pass them on to friends, associates and family members. Viral marketing got its odd name because the word spreads like a virus, but it should not be confused with a computer virus. Computer viruses are the malicious and destructive “toys” of trouble makers and malcontents. Viral marketing, if done correctly, can bring quite a bit of good to the world. When done correctly, viral marketing can be lucrative and powerful, bringing explosive growth.

By definition, viral marketing is a technique for promoting a product or service exponentially. When done correctly, one person will give it to a few people who in turn will pass it on to several other people. This is what makes viral marketing so effective. For instance, let’s say you developed an MLM training website and offered the training FREE to 10 people, who in turn forwarded the site to 10 people, who in turn passed it on to 10 people each. This simple viral campaign would put your website in front of 1,000 people almost immediately.

Now here’s where it gets fun … if everyone passes it on to 10 people and this progression continues just three more times, one million people will have access to YOUR website. Continue the progression twice more and 100,000,000 people (100 million people) will have been exposed to YOUR website. And because the Internet is so efficient, it could realistically happen in a matter of days, weeks or months.

Perhaps the most famous viral marketing campaigns are Hotmail and Yahoo. Microsoft and Yahoo had the ingenious idea of giving away free email accounts as a way to penetrate the market. Once millions of computer users took advantage of the free email, the companies had a captive audience for “upselling” other products/services. They also had an audience of millions to offer their advertisers at premium rates.

Some viral marketing promotions work better than others, and few work as well as the Hotmail and Yahoo campaigns.

Why were those campaigns so effective? The primary reason they worked so well is they provided real benefits to the company and the end users.
There are 4 main attributes of a successful MLM Viral Marketing Campaign:

  1. The products or service must be free to the recipient.
  2. The product or service must provide tangible, measurable benefits.
  3. The product or service must be easily transferred throughout the target community.
  4. To be especially effective, the campaign should gain a rapid foothold in the MLM community, not opportunity seekers.

Why Is Viral Marketing An Effective Way To Build Your Network Marketing Team?

Success in network marketing is all about duplication. The issue for most networkers is the system they use for sponsoring new members is too complicated or too expensive … meaning it is not duplicable. Viral marketing addresses this issue in a number of ways:

  • Viral marketing does not rely on the skill set or knowledge base of your team members.
  • Once it gets started, viral marketing spreads on its own, making it completely duplicable.
  • Because there are tangible and free benefits to the recipient, nobody has to convince anybody.
  • When done correctly, viral marketing is inexpensive and highly effective, so anybody can do it.

What sort of product or service makes for a good MLM viral advertising campaign? What we have seen work best during our years of Internet marketing are systems or tools. Offering network marketers FREE tools and/or techniques for building THEIR business provides value and creates excitement. Value and excitement are cornerstones of viral marketing. People will gladly share your tools if they get excited about the value they offer.

One of the things that separates viral marketing from other marketing methods is the speed of growth. With a good viral marketing promotion, you can be a “virtual” unknown on the Internet one day and your site can be all over the Internet “virtually” overnight.

This way, you have a very low overhead(the affiliate company handle everything from website creation to products to shipping to paying commissions), very low risk, and the opportunity to leverage your time and money to generate serious residual income.

Important Note: The focus of a successful viral marketing campaign is added value, not your brand. People will not share your site (or your information) because they love you or love your company; they will share it because they love the service, product, system, or tools.

Now that we have analyzed the key components of a MLM Viral Marketing Promotion, there is one last step. No matter how good your campaign is, it will be a major disappointment if you don’t share it with a bunch of people. It’s like the old story of the tree falling in the forest – if nobody is there when the tree falls does it make a sound? Likewise with your viral marketing – if nobody sees it, it doesn’t exist.

So the most important step in your viral marketing campaign is …. Getting Started!!

7 Big Pitfalls To Avoid In Your Business

Would you like to know the big secret to getting lucky and hitting it big in network marketing? Here’s the real truth behind the success of every top income earner in the industry ….work your tail off!!

Working your tail off means doing all the things everyone else won’t do, so you can live the life everyone else doesn’t have. It means attending ALL of your company and team opportunity and training calls. Working your tail off means finding out who is making it happen and duplicating exactly what they do. It means doing all the repetitive, boring things that breed success over and over and over again until you make it big.

So, what are the things we SHOULD NOT be doing? The following is a list of items we see so many people doing wrong in this industry. If you want to be successful in network marketing you need to consistently work hard and avoid the following 7 pitfalls:

1. Selling and Presenting Your Business

We see so many people in this industry trying to sell and talk people into joining their business. That might work if we wanted them to buy a refrigerator from us. The problem with selling people into your network marketing business is that they are not making a “buying” decision. They are making a working decision. Your job is not to convince people that your business is a great opportunity. Your job is to find those people who are searching for your opportunity and upon finding it will do something about it. In a nutshell, you are looking for the “get it done and then some” kind of people.

Utilize your company and team leader’s conference calls & websites to do the selling and presenting for you. In simplest terms, let the tools do 90% of the work. That leaves you free to concentrate on the personal part of network marketing … cultivating relationships, interviewing and choosing the right people.

Never forget that you are looking for serious, motivated, committed people who are ready to do business right now. If you try to sell people, you will end up spending 99% of your time trying to push the wrong people to do the work. The bottom line is, we are in the lifestyle development business, not sales.

2. Making Income Claims

How many times have you heard how much money the big “Guru” in a network marketing company is making? That may be very well and good, but what does it have to do with how much you will make or how much your prospect will earn with your company? The answer is absolutely nothing. You, your team members and potential prospects could make more or less than the top earner. So, why do so many networkers make income claims when talking to a potential candidate for their business? The answer goes back to Pitfall #1. They are trying to impress and ultimately sell their prospect into the business.

So, if we shouldn’t be making income claims, how do we make sure our prospects have a strong understanding of the income potential of doing business with us? The answer is simple. Instead of telling them how much you or someone else in your company makes, present them with a simple business plan they can understand. For example, if sponsoring 10 who sponsor 10 who sponsor 10, will create a six figure income, then that is your sample business plan. Make sure they understand that once they complete the plan, they will be earning the desired income.

Always put the focus on what THEY need to do to make money, not what someone else has done.

3. Three-Way Prospects Into Opportunity Calls

It never ceases to amaze us how many network marketers will 3-way a prospect into an opportunity call. Think about it. What message is this sending your prospect? It’s simple, desperation. Instead of interviewing and making your prospect qualify for your time, you are again back to Pitfall #1, trying to sell someone on your business. Instead, make the attendance of your conference call a qualifier.

See it as the same way you would a job interview. If you were interviewing a candidate for the board of directors of your business, would you drive to their house, pick them up and bring them back to your office? Of course you wouldn’t. Sounds pretty silly when we put it that way, doesn’t it? Your network marketing business is no different. You are the CEO of your company. You only have time to work with a few serious, motivated and dedicated individuals. If they won’t take 25-30 minutes to learn about your business, then quite frankly, you don’t want them.

4. Being Too Enthusiastic

Being excited about your business is a very good thing. However, displaying a bunch of over-the-top excitement during an interview call is going to more than likely turn your prospect off, off, off. If you are too enthusiastic when speaking with them, their first thought will probably be that you’re about to pitch them on something. Be confident and excited about what you have to offer, but stay away from words like awesome, incredible, amazing, fantastic, easy, great, “you’re going to love this”, etc.

5. Not Disqualifying

As we said earlier, smart people invest their time in the serious, motivated people who see the vision and are ready to do business now. So, how can we be sure we’re disqualifying the people that aren’t right for our business? One of the most important things you can do is make a list of the qualities you’re looking for and post it in sight of the area you make your phone calls at. At any time you feel like your prospect is not right for the business, simply let them know. Say something like, “I appreciate your time, but this doesn’t sound like something that’s for you right now. Why don’t we keep in touch by email and if something changes you can give me a call.”

Always leave the ball in their court. It’s like a game of tennis. Every time they hit the ball back to you, you do the same. Literally – put the ball back into their court. Make them responsible for their actions so you’re spending your time with the right people. Don’t ever hit the ball over the net twice without getting it back first. If you do, you will just burn yourself out.

6. Not focusing on people’s pain – Not solving problems

Too many networkers focus only on getting a prospect information about their business, without learning anything about what the prospect is looking for and why. When speaking with prospects, ask exploratory questions that reveal their values, goals & desires. Really listen and care about what they have to say. The more you understand your prospect, the better you can assist them in getting what they want. Focus on how your business can be a solution to the challenges they’re facing. They are interested in what joining your business can do for them, not how “great” and “incredible” it is.

7. Focusing on Details

There are two types of details we are talking about here. The first is the details of your business when talking with prospects. Don’t get into long winded discussions about the background of your company. Stop yourself from going on and on about the evolution of the product line or the details of your marketing system. You, of course, want to answer questions. However, the time and place for that is after your prospect has been on a call and read through your website. Once they’ve done that, answer their questions in a short but informative way. Don’t let yourself get side tracked from the topic or over load them with too much information.

The second type of details we’re talking about is the details of planning your work. Want to waste 2 hours? Go into your office for 5 minutes. Leaders focus the bulk of their time on result related activities & delegate out everything else. 90% of your time should be spent on phone calls and training your team members. Organizing your business is considered “busy work” and does not count towards the time you need to put in to be successful.

To your success,

Cash Gifting- A Creative Way to Gift Money.

Cash Gifting

A Creative Way to Gift Money

Although the rate of unemployment is high in many parts of the world, people can make income without depending on gainful employment through many ways. The web offers numerous ways of making income thus all you need to do is identify a method that you believe will work for you. One of the methods that you may have come across in your search is cash gifting. Although this program has been around for quite some time, not everyone who has tried it has something positive to say because while it has worked for some people others were disappointed.

If you are considering joining this program, you will first need to understand that cash gifting is a legitimate act of giving someone a declared sum of money as a gift. Thus, this is done without coercion neither does it take after multi-level marketing or network marketing. It is believed that this program is patterned after Jewish, Asian and Scottish cultures that advocate for the giving of gifts to family members as well as friends to enable them purchase homes, start businesses or to restore them from effects of economic turmoil.

Just as it is when you give or receive a gift from someone, the program does not involve any business transactions, securities or investments, business name and location or even the directors. This is because individuals will simply offer support to each other in a team concept with the main aim of changing lives. In the US, there is a limit to the amount of money that you can give as a gift without being taxed.

Most importantly, you need to understand that as a source of income, cash gifting is not single sided rather it is based on the principle of giving and receiving so that people are able to receive and give through mutual trust. Therefore, when you receive a gift that will enable you to invest and gain financial independence you will need to consider spreading your blessings to other people. In essence, the idea behind cash gifting is to provide as many people as possible the foundation to establish themselves financially. Consequently, those involved need to ensure that they do not hold back in order to create an opportunity for many people.

Cash gifting comes with a number of benefits key among them being the fact that you will be able to start your business or even increase the cash flow of an existing business with ease. Secondly, through cash gifting you can also be able to offset a debt that you may have had for a long time. Thirdly, cash gifting can also help you to save for the down payment of a home or even replace your old car for an efficient one. You could also use this program to take care of medical bills or your college tuition. In general, cash gifting is one of the most trusted ways of attaining your passion as well as reaching financial goals within a short time. However, you will need to ensure that you enter this program with the right mindset.

Some of the features of cash gifting programs that you can consider joining include the presence of a website that promotes the group, have inviters who are willing to usher you into the program, the presence of team leaders that have succeeded, provision of detailed information, a proven method of receiving the income and a reliable tracking system.

Is YOUR Viral Marketing Effective

Is YOUR Viral Marketing Effective?

Viral Marketing has been around since 1996, but has been in a constant state of flux since it was first used as a marketing tool. Although many people have heard the term for years, it is very surprising how few people actually know what Viral Marketing is and how it works.
When used correctly, Viral Marketing can make a huge impact almost immediately. On the other hand, incorrect viral marketing can be a major waste of both time and money.

How can we ensure that our Viral Marketing efforts deliver the desired results?

First, let’s make sure we are all on the same page regarding this mysterious advertising technique. What exactly is Viral Marketing? The definition of viral marketing is ... a method of advertising products or services that causes recipients to pass them on to friends, associates and family members. Viral marketing got its odd name because the word spreads like a virus.

In the beginning, email was the only way to effectively start and execute a viral marketing campaign. In the decade since, viral marketing has evolved from a marketing strategy to an art form and there are many ways to accomplish the objective of creating a successful viral marketing campaign.

Here a just of few of the ways you can start a successful viral marketing promotion:

Email – This is where it all started. This is still the most widely used viral marketing medium, but government and ISP restrictions have made email marketing more challenging. Before investing in an extensive email marketing campaign, make sure you are working with a proven vendor and technology. When done correctly, this is still the best way to start and stimulate your viral advertising promotion.

Blogging – Providing the tools on your website to enable bloggers to interact with one another is a terrific way to get the message about your product of service out there and being talked about. Bloggers have their ears to the ground for new products and services.

Training Articles – By providing valuable resources to a targeted audience (home business owners, Internet marketers, pet owners, chefs, etc.), you can easily penetrate the market through the ‘back door.’ By offering high quality FREE training to specific niches, you increase your exposure and credibility, all in one fell swoop.

Newsletters – eNewsletter and eZines are a variation of email marketing and can be very effective tools. If you include enough timely and valuable information, a good newsletter can drive up the number of visits to your website.

Refer-A-Friend: If you add this with a statement saying that e-mail addresses supplied will never be shared with third parties, you can increase your potential customer list greatly.

The main thing to remember about effective Viral Marketing is that it all starts with a valuable tool or resource. The most effective viral advertising includes a product or service must provide tangible, measurable benefits at no cost to the recipient.

Once you have a product or service of value to offer, you have to get the ball rolling by ‘seeding’ your viral marketing campaign. Think of it like a snowball rolling down a hill. In the beginning, you have to work hard to push the snowball while it gathers mass and speed. After the snowball reaches ‘critical mass’, it begins to take on a life of its own. Your viral marketing promotion is no different. Get it started, keep working at it, and soon it will begin to promote itself.
